Meet Lilibeth Sánchez: From Kitchen Assistant to Professional Pastry Chef

Hello, I'm Lilibeth Sánchez, originally from Ciudad Bolívar, a charming town in eastern Venezuela. My love for baking began in my teenage years, in the kitchen of my home, where I helped my mother create cakes that, though requiring intense manual effort, always turned out to be deliciously unforgettable. What started as an act of love towards friends and family soon transformed into a culinary adventure that would lead me to discover my true passion.

Although I initially graduated in Nursing, life had other plans for me. Upon meeting my husband, we both decided to dive into the world of professional gastronomy, enrolling at the "Cuisineart Gastronomic Institute" in Puerto Ordaz. Over three years, I not only perfected the art of plating but also rediscovered my passion for baking, this time from a professional perspective.

My first major project as a pastry chef was a gift for my sister, which took me five hours of meticulous work. However, thanks to countless hours of training and practice, I founded Lilis Cakes. My mission is to offer those who appreciate a quality dessert not just exceptional flavor but also impeccable presentation. At Lilis Cakes, we believe in awakening emotions with every bite, combining heart and excellence in every creation.
